How I worked
Groundwork
I spent eight weeks as a UX design intern at Morescope, a data and AI platform helping companies and investors track and reduce their climate and ESG impact. Working alongside two other interns, I was tasked with designing a new SBTi Target Setting module in response to the framework's recently updated requirements.
I analysed the revised SBTi manual and interviewed both Morescope employees and platform users, to understand what the existing module covered and what the new framework required.
Design
From that insight I translated dense regulatory requirements into a flow that could be navigated. Low and high fidelity prototypes in Figma, iterated against what users needed to accomplish rather than what the manual listed.
We focused on clarity, flexibility, and making a complex process easy to navigate. Each design decision was grounded in what users needed to accomplish within the updated framework.
Outcome
The team delivered a prototype aligned with the updated requirements that received positive internal feedback. It addressed both the regulation and the daily reality of the people who work inside it.
Morescope took the work forward and built it into the live target-setting module.
